EyeWonder Appoints Udo to Managing Director Post in Europe
ADOTAS — Rich media and digital advertiser EyeWonder, Inc.. today announced the appointment of Marcel Udo as its managing director of continental Europe. Udo specializes in online advertising, interactive marketing and marketing sales.
Most recently, Udo was a sales director for ilse media, a division of Sanoma WSOY – the largest online publisher in the Netherlands.
With this addition, EyeWonder extends its physical presence into four European countries, and follows its acquisition of German-based firm vendi interactive last September. Udo will work in concert with Barry Bedford, EyeWonder’s managing director of the United Kingdom and Ireland. Together they will continue to build upon EyeWonder’s rapidly expanding business within Europe’s interactive digital advertising industry.
“Marcel is an outstanding addition to help lead our European expansion, and we are excited to name such a well-respected industry veteran to our team,” John Vincent, CEO, EyeWonder said. “EyeWonder’s innovative products and superior service have made us the fastest-growing rich media provider in the U.S., and we are enjoying the same enthusiastic client response and loyalty in continental Europe, the United Kingdom and Ireland.”
EyeWonder’s technological capabilities help brands and advertisers produce online ad campaigns with interactive capabilities. According to Nielsen Online/AdRelevance, EyeWonder tripled its campaign impression volume year over year, and more than doubled its rich media market share.
