handshake3.jpgAT&T and Yahoo made a joint announcement this week that stated the two companies had replaced the previous deal in which Yahoo took a portion of AT&T Internet subscriber fee in return for broadband service, with a new partnership that will allow the search engine to deliver ads to the phone company’s users on their phones as well as their computers.

The companies will share revenue, but the details of this aspect of the agreement have not been made public. The deal includes display ads and PPC search ads. The deal brings service to up to 70 million AT&T mobile users.
