Yahoo’s head of media, Scott Moore stated to the New York Times “We’re bringing together the leader on television with the leader online for financial content.”

This marks the first significant partnership with an online portal for CNBC, as well as the first time both firms have agreed to worldwide content syndication arrangement.

CNBC may have the lion’s share for business brands on television; however the company’s site only averaged about 538,000 unique visitors last month. Yahoo Finance had a better November with a total of 13.8 million visitors.
