Microsoft Launches Ads On MSN Mobile

msnlogo.jpgToday, Microsoft Corp. began placing ads on its U.S. MSN mobile page, officially launching itself into the mobile ad market.

The U.S. online ad market is worth about $40 billion, and yet there is the potential to make even more money from the mobile market as it is quickly evolving according to Reuters.

Advertisements from Paramount, Jaguar and Bank of America will be among the first to run Microsoft’s U.S. page. Currently the company sells mobile ads in Japan, Spain, France, Belgium and the U.K.

Microsoft will be advertising not only on phones but on Xbox Live. The company will also bring new features to its MSN mobile page.
