Not only has Google decided to take to the mobile airwaves, but the company has unveiled a new application for the iPhone to cover even more ground in grand Google tradition. This new application combines various Google services into a single interface.
The company said yesterday that the new application would make it easier to “find, use and switch between its services on the iPhone,” according to Reuters. The company is also looking to create similar applications for other devices to push along its progress in becoming the same presence in the mobile world as it is in traditional online media.
This comes on the heels of Google’s announcement that it will bid in an upcoming U.S. wireless airwaves auction in order to launch its own wireless network.
