Facebook Acquiring Zhanzuo.com
Finally there’s some discussion abot Facebook spending some of it’s highly valued windfall of money, not just receiving more. Facebook has reportedly offered nearly $85 million to acquire it’s largest Chinese competitor, Zhanzuo.com.
MySpace has a foothold into China and it’s unknown if Facebook can have the same success in China as it has in the US. The entire Internet and access to sites in China are controlled by the Chinese government who at last review do not have their own Facebook or Myspace profile. Some suggest that the Chinese government are hostile to social networking.
