China.com Signs Giant Ad Deal
Today, China.com, a provider of Online services in China and a Hong Kong listed subsidiary of CDC Corporation announced that it has signed an advertising deal with Giant Interactive Group Inc. Giant is a leading online games developer and operator in China.
The ad campaign for Giant will run on China.com’s enhanced game channel. The game portal bridges the gap between game operators and game players, providing players with online communities and detailed information about multiplayer online games. In turn, operators are given a platform to advertise their MMO (Massively Multiplayer Online) games, allowing domestic and overseas game operators to launch their browser-based games.
Donglei Fang, COO of China.com Inc. said “As more and more game operators compete for players, they are expected to increase their online advertising spending significantly. China.com’s unique combination of comprehensive gaming information and an interactive gaming platform provides an ideal choice for game advertisers and operators. We are confident our game channel will become a very popular online destination.”
