Watershed Adds Adrants To The Family

grouphug1.jpgThis week Watershed Publishing LLC, which is the parent company to many b-to-b publications, announced that it will acquire a small stake in advertising and marketing trade site Adrants. The deal will close at the end of next month and will value the site at $750,ooo.

Watershed Publishing currently owns MediaBuyerPlanner, MarketingVOX and MarketingCharts. The company also sells ads for many other sites in this market. The publishing company now either owns or controls ad space on three of the top ten, and five of the top twenty, online trade publications for online marketers and advertisers.

Watershed’s sites reach an audience of marketers roughly twice the size of Advertising Age’s online properties and 15 percent larger than the sum of those from Nielsen Business Media, the two closest networks of relevant sites.

Watershed Publishing is a self-funded venture based in Thetford Center, VT with a staff of 22, publishing titles in defense sectors and healthcare.
