Shelter Media Brings Vertical Network Home
Today, Shelter Media announced the launch of its home and garden vertical advertising network. This network is aimed at delivering premium ads to consumers and home improvement & design professionals looking to make significant investments for the home.
Advertisers have access to home improvement, home décor and real estate information, buying guides, product reviews and blogs as well as e-commerce and comparison shopping Web sites through the Shelter Media vertical network. This vertical ad network reaches 1.3 million users of the “do-it-for-me” and “do-it-yourself” audiences across 33 sites.
Shelter Media is powered by Adify’s Build Your Own Network (BYON) platform which provides the backend infrastructure to completely create, manage and commercialize vertical advertising solutions. Adify has powered many successful vertical ad networks for otherwise fragmented markets.
“By working closely with our Web publisher and content partners, Shelter Media aggregates an engaged audience of home and garden enthusiasts and professionals, providing one-stop-shopping for advertisers looking to target these folks,” said Shelter Media CEO and co-founder Michael Golden. “Furthermore, our expertise within the home and garden category provides advertising clients the ability to create high impact campaigns across trusted brands, delivering superior reach, frequency and results.”
Vertical ad networks are gaining recognition from advertisers as a new and easier way to monetize fragmented niche audiences. Russ Fradin, CEO of Adify stated “Vertical ad networks, like Shelter Media, are more effective than existing remnant, behavioral or contextual solutions for reaching and engaging niche audiences and their thought leaders.”
