PubMatic Gives Away Free Ads
Today, PubMatic announced the launch of its PubMatic Publisher Challenge. This program provides web publishers with thousands of dollars of free advertising on web 2.0 sites. Winners are picked every months and PubMatic advertises their products and their success in using PubMatic.
Publishers can sign up for free for the Publisher Challenge. November winners include WinCustomize and BikerOrNot. These advertisers have seen a 100% increase in their ad revenue since the use of PubMatic.
Every size of publisher can sign up for and start using PubMatic, they tell PubMatic how much the use of its free service has increased their revenues, and they could possibly win thousands of dollars in free advertising. The contest will be held on an ongoing basis.
Rajeev Goel, co-founder and general manager of PubMatic said “In just two months, over 1300 publishers are seeing the benefits of PubMatic, including increased ad revenues and less management hassle. Our publishers’ success is our own success, so what better way to tell the PubMatic story than through the voice of our customers.”
The vision of the company is to seamlessly connect publishers with ad networks in a way that benefits publishers, ad networks, advertisers and web site visitors. The firm identifies and recommends appropriate ad networks for a publisher and improving the layout of text ads.
