Pixsy Powers Veoh
Veoh and Pixsy are getting together to take on the Internet video and television space with a new power. The strategic partnership will allow Veoh.vom and VeohTV users to use Pixsy’s media search platform which offers enhanced video and image search functionality. Veoh Networks provides Internet Television, while Pixsy Corp. is a media search platform that powers private label video and image search engines.
The focus of Pixsy’s technology is to make it easy for a site to run a branded multimedia search engine with content customized to its audience which creates new targeted inventory. Dmitry Shapiro, founder and chief innovation officer of Veoh Networks state din the release, “Pixsy’s vast index and ability to organize their breadth of video image content in a way that maps to our users’ interests will meaningfully enhance the viewing experience of Veoh.”
Chase Norlin, Pixsy CEO said, “By combing Veoh’s leading Internet Television platform with our media search capabilities, our companies can generate real consumer value for Veoh’s more than 18 million viewers.” Veoh.com has more than 85,000 content publishers and attracts over 18 million users a month.
