JobsDB Expands To Online Ads
PT JobsDB Indonesia, an online job recruitment service provider, announced that it plans to expand and diversify the business into online advertising.
Eddy S. Tjahja, managing director of JobsDB, told the press on Friday that the online advertising industry has been growing by 40%-60% a year, which makes the space very attractive and promising for a business.
Tjahja was quoted in the Jakarta Post to say, “We are quote serious about this new business. For example, we have invested around Rp 4 billion on improving our hardware capability. We have also hired about 100 accounts executives nationwide to support the business.”
He continued that the company has been soft launching the new division of the business for the past few months and several of the multinational companies that have started working with them have seen amazing results. Standard Ballpoint, a stationary company that placed an ad saw 4,113 hits in two weeks.
JobsDB Indonesia is a unit of JobsDB.com. Eddy concluded that companies wishing to reach a large audience would be able to due to JobDB’s network throughout Asia-Pacific.
