GGL Launches Online Reality Gaming Show
In a marriage of traditional television formats and online gaming, GGL, ggl.com, an online videogame and media network has officially launched an online review show called “Up All Night.” The show is modeled after reality television shows that give users’ opinions in real-time on the newest videogames. The season will begin with a three-part review of Halo3.
It’s being branded as a typical “boy’s night in” and includes banter and discussion from a group of competitive gamers. It’s an all inclusive advice, commentary and overview of videogames.
Robert Summa, editor in chief of GGL.com and producer of GGL’s “Epileptic Gaming” said “Up All Night is such a unique way of approaching the idea of reviewing a game. We’ve tossed away the standard score and review structure and instead are giving viewers a raw and uncut opinion as it’s happening from gamers of differing backgrounds.”
Ted Owen, GGL chairman said “With programming such as Up All Night, GGL attracts an elusive audience of gamers in that key 15-35 age range.”
