Could Ads Come In Blog Size?
This week comScore introduced the comScore Conversational Media Report. This new service is said to improve the measurement of audiences for blogging sites. This will include mainstream and niche blogs as well as social networking sites.
Collaborating with Federated Media Publishing, comScore has installed a customized weighting and projection system to assure the accuracy of the report on the behaviors of visitors to these blogging sites. Founder and CEO of Federated Media John Battelle stated on conScore’s website, “We’re very excited that comScore has released the Conversational Media Report, providing the most accurate worldwide audience estimates for the conversational media space.”
Lauren Desmond, CEO of Starcom MediaVest Group, The Americas commented, “Technology has enabled a borderless and real-time means of communication. As this becomes more pervasive and mainstream, it is critical for the marketing industry to understand and track these conversations to help inform investment decisions that engage consumers in unexpected and captivating way.”
This report could assist advertisers in monetizing on an audience that goes somewhat untapped.
