Berndt Leaves Ogilvy & Mather For Google

affiliate11.jpgFormer co-president of Ogilvy & Mather’s New York office, Andy Berndt has decided to leave the company to go to Google to become the head of a newly developed division that will partner with agencies, marketers and entertainment companies.

Prior to his last various positions at Ogilvy & Mather since 1999, Berndt worked on accounts for Weiden & Kennedy and TBWA/Chiat/Day where he was account executive for Apple’s “Think Different” campaign according to Advertising Age.

The addition of Berndt will assist Google is creating a stronger agency focused component of their company.

Berndt will stay on at Ogilvy & Mather during the transitional period while his yet-to-be-named successor comes in.
