Proxicom has worked on sites for brand names such as DuPont, Chevron and Toyota while iCrossing has headed up search campaigns for Coca-Cola, Travelocity and GM. The companies plan to combine iCrossing’s search expertise with Proxicom’s insight on design.
CEO of iCrosing Jeffery Herzog stated, “Anybody can paint a pretty picture or build a pretty website. What we are talking about as a company is what we can perform through these pretty pictures.”
The company recently received $62 million in funds from various investors including Goldman Sachs for expansion purposes; however the details of this specific acquisition have not been disclosed.
