Games Worth $100M To Viacom

gamer1.jpgStaying on the subject of games, Viacom’s MTV Networks has announced that its Nickelodeon Kids & Family Group is planning on investing $100 million over the span of two years in the development, distribution and creation of casual gaming titles, sites and platforms.

Cyma Zarghami who is the president of Nickelodeon Kids & Family Group stated at the Casual Connect gaming conference in Seattle that “Across all of MTVN’s online sites, gaming is an important original genre, and we are committed to delivering fresh content to our audiences in all of our demos.”

myNOGGIN will be one of the many initiatives by the company to offer educational games to subscribers. There will be games for preschoolers, teen girls, and various other targeted communities.
