Finalists will be judged by the Awards’ Board of Distinguished Judges & Advisors, such as Donald Trump. The American Business Awards are the only national, all-encompassing awards program honoring great performances in business. Stevie Award winners will be announced during the annual gala on Monday, June 11 at the Marriott Marquis Hotel in New York City. More than 700 executives from across the U.S. are expected to attend. The ceremonies will be videocast on the Internet and broadcast on radio, and hosted by Larry Wilmore of TV’s The Daily Show with Jon Stewart.“Being named a Finalist in The American Business Awards is an important achievement,” said Michael Gallagher, founder and president of The Stevie Awards. “It means that independent business executives have agreed that the nominee is worthy of national recognition. We congratulate all of the finalists on their achievement and wish them well in the competition.”Launched in January 2007 at SEMDirector’s annual event, INFLECTIONPoint, SEMDirector: Organic Insight is part of a suite of search marketing automation solutions that focus on helping large advertisers improve the effectiveness of their search marketing programs. The automated software individually audits Web pages in a complex Web site, sometimes spanning more than one million Web pages at a time. The audit covers the Web site’s technical construction, use of search terms in the language and effectiveness of the link strategy.Ultimately, the audit produces a single proprietary SEMDirectorâ„¢: Audit Score, a 0 to 100 representation of the level of optimization on each page and the Web site overall, which marketers use to measure the effectiveness of the SEO process. “We are honored that SEMDirector: Organic Insight has been recognized for its contributions to large marketers by such an esteemed organization as The American Business Awards,” said Russ Mann, CEO of SEMDirector. “We are currently witnessing our clients making tremendous strides in the effectiveness of their search marketing campaigns with remarkable results, sometimes with as much as a 150 percent increase in unique visitors. We are very excited that our solution is bringing efficiency and accountability to search marketing and the advertising industry overall.” Since becoming available in beta form in October 2006, the technology has been deployed at 12 companies in high technology, media, travel, consumer packaged goods, financial services and other industries. The technology is sold as software as a service (SaaS) and is integrated with technologies that track visitor behavior on the site, allowing marketers to track results with respect to traffic and conversions.
