Googles latest ad partner will be Clear Chanel Radio, one of the nations topradio companies.
The two companieshave announced a multiyear deal that allows Google to a sell a guaranteed portion of 30-second ad inventory on the broadcaster’s 675 AM and FM radio stations across the country. Under the terms of the agreement, advertisers using the Google Audio Ads service will gain access to a national distribution chain of targeted markets.
According to Clear Chanel Radio CEOJohn Hogan the deal is “win-win” and helps the company to remain competitive in the face of a growing online ad market.
Thecooperative provides Clear Channel an additional revenue stream and links the company with advertisers who had not previously used radio.
