Verizon FIOS Teams with SIVOO for Added Multicultural Programming
Verizon’s FiOS TV platform has added additional foreign language films to its listings today through an agreement with SIVOO, Inc., which serves multicultural, on-demand entertainment..
With the deal, approximately 236 titles in Spanish, Chinese and Hindi will now be provided to Verizon over three years. Throughout the month of March, eight Spanish and Hindi films will be offered by Verizon along with three in Chinese- the films will be refreshed monthly by SIVOO, Inc. The new multicultural films can be ordered on-demand for $3.99 and will be available for 24 hours.
Terry Denson, vice president of FiOS TV content strategy and acquisition, said, “We are committed to offering our customers a vast selection of multicultural content to satisfy various preferences for diverse programming. SIVOO, which has agreements with many of the top international film producers, provides multicultural entertainment that subscribers can watch on their own schedules. SIVOO’s catalog of quality international films is a great addition to our ever-expanding library of on-demand programming.”

The new Verizon FiOS TV lineup is available in more than 200 communities in parts of 10 states: California, Delaware, Florida, Maryland, Massachusetts, New Jersey, New York, Pennsylvania Texas and Virginia.
