NewsGator Brings RSS Aggregation to Salesforce.com Users
Users of the Salesforce.com customer resource management platform will soon get a new feature that lets them access their customer data on the road.
RSS company NewsGator has announced that it will be providing users of the Salesforce.com customer management system with the ability to aggregate their CRM data via RSS. The RSS aggregation is provided through NewsGator’s Enterprise RSS Solutions.
“RSS is clearly the most powerful method for delivering CRM data where it needs to be, in real-time,” said NewsGator founder Charlie Wood in a statement. RSS aggregation will help Salesforce users keep on top of time-sensitive information like sales leads and customer support cases, without having to log on to Salesforce.com. RSS data can be accessed through the Web and connected mobile devices though any RSS reading software including Microsoft Outlook.
“The success of a business can often rest on the knowledge and information sales and marketing teams have about their customers. Giving them a way to have easily accessible, continuously updated information that they can look at anywhere is invaluable,” added Wood.
