Marchex Adds Conversion Tracking to Network

Marchex, Inc. has now added conversion tracking, and updated reporting tools to its pay-per-click (PPC) advertising networks. The addition will go towards the enhancing the Interactive and the Marchex Network, so that advertisers can effectively track ROI’s and access important performance information while changing and improving their campaigns.

With the new conversion tracking, five different conversations can be tracked, which include sales, leads, sign-ups, views of key pages, and clicks. Better keyword tracking is also provided to advertisers through the new launch along with campaign modification.

Scott Greenberg, Marchex SVP of Advertising Services states that “the combination of conversion tracking, new reporting tools and improvements to the account management system user interface will better enable our advertisers, particularly large advertisers, to optimize their performance of their campaigns and better assess their ROI on our networks. These are important steps in our initiative to deliver high quality traffic to our advertisers and to arm them with more of the tools and information they need to maximize and measure their campaigns.”

Additionally, advertisers can also retrieve reports through downloads based on specific accounts. Keyword performances can be formatted into Excel or .csv files, and performance comparisons over periods of time are made available for advertisers as well. Other updates include a results display expansion, keyword enhancements and navigation within the AMS interface.

Conversion tracking is free to Enhance Interactive and Marchex Network advertisers.
