Fox Interactive Media Acquires Strategic Data Corporation

Fox Interactive Media announced today that it has acquired Strategic Data Corporation, an interactive advertising technology company. SDC, which was founded in 2000, and its technologies are made to optimize the delivery of online advertising.

With SDC’s services, Fox Interactive–home to MySpace, IGN, and AskMen.com among other notable properties–hopes to offer targeted, graphic performance-based advertising will be able to be displayed on millions of websites on a daily basis.

Peter Levinsohn, President, Fox Interactive Media said in a statement, “SDC will enable us to realize the full potential of our massive online network.” Levinsohn added, “SDC’s expert team and technologies combined with our own top notch engineers and vast audience will enable us to ensure the optimal performance of our advertising for the benefit of clients and consumers alike.”
