ePrize Claims #1 in Nationally Run Promotions

Interactive promotions agency ePrize has claimed today that it launched 802 interactive promotions in 2006, more than any other online promotional service.

The company says it achieved a 40% growth rate, increasing sales by $35.9 million. “Brand building for the sake of brand building is a hopeless proposition,” said CEO Josh Linkner in a statement while touting the value of interactive games and sweepstakes over brand marketing. “Brands must connect directly with individual consumers. Top marketers now recognize interactive promotions are the single most powerful way to win repeat customers and develop a loyal base of savvy consumers.”

With more than 206 new staff members already onboard, ePrize says it intends to reach 450 in its Detroit headquarters by 2009. The company has also started a fund to support local charities in cities like New York, LA and Chicago.

As part of the company’s expansion, ePrize launched a self-serve online promotional tool in January called Caffeine that lets small and medium businesses manage their own campaigns. “Caffeine democratizes the marketing industry by enabling small and medium-sized businesses to affordably compete on a much larger scale,” added Linkner.

Linkner believes that sales in 2007 will surpass $55 million.
