Music/lifestyle marketing firm Cornerstone will be the driving force behind Boost Mobile’s upcoming nationwide volunteer campaign.
Boost Mobile, along with RockCorps, an organization that harnesses the mighty power of rock to promote volunteerism, will be promoting non-profit charity organizations in the annual Boost Mobile RockCorps (BMRC) campaign.
This is the third year that Cornerstone has been a part of the initiative. This year the marketer will be using grassroots and local-level marketing events like music tours and the complete online and broadcast programs to go along with them. Last year BMRC volunteers received free concert tickets in exchange for volunteer hours.
“The Boost Mobile RockCorps campaign perfectly aligns with Cornerstone’s strengths and passions,” said Cornerstone founder/co-president Rob Stone in a statement. “Boost Mobile RockCorps is a perfect partner for us as they understand the power of music and the importance of community.”
The BMRC campaign has generated 16,000 young volunteers since 2005. Last year, the campaign ran in eight cities. This year, Cornerstone will offer more rewards and enlist more volunteer partners. The campaign will be hitting major cities New York, Atlanta and LA first, with an additional ten to follow.
