Digital marketing agency imc² has deployed an e-commerce system for small and medium sized businesses. SellPower, developed by the Art Technology Group (ATG)., is already used by more than 300 online retailers, according to Forrester Research.

“Small to mid-size retailers clearly need more functionality from e-commerce platform providers,” said imc²’s e-commerce director Mike Graziano in a statement. By distributing SellPower, imc² hopes to offer interactive agency services and retailing services side-by-side, giving online sellers a more efficient and integrated tool for managing their businesses in the process.

The agency already offers media planning, web development, marketing, and measurement services to clients like Procter & Gamble and Pfizer. The deployment of SellPower is the result of a partnership struck between imc² and the ATG in October 2006 when imc² began using ATG OnDemand to manage e-commerce and subscription-based sites.

ATG, which recently took its first steps into the Chinese market, has developed its e-commerce systems to be as scalable and as efficient as possible. ATG’s systems are used by more than 600 major US brands including Coca Cola and Target.
