Clear Channel Revamps Customer Website Template
Inergize Digital Media, the interactive Web branch of Clear Channel Television, today unveiled its new, more ad-friendly template for its customer sites. According to the release, Inergize has now standardized advertising placements and sizes for better revenue, improved agility for new releases and updates, and made the sites’ navigation more modern and clear–the overall objective being to create a better user experience.
“As more and more consumers go online for news and entertainment, it’s imperative that we continue to exceed expectations and enhance the user experience,” states Jason Gould, Regional Vice President of Inergize.
A standard placement for all ads and sizes, larger ad sizes, and national ad execution are only a few of the changes that Clear Channel hopes will provide better revenue for the corporation.
ASP.NET 2.0 technologies have also been introduced to the new template so that programmers would have the tools to create a wide range of Web applications. Clear Channel claims that by making these change, its website will be easier to update and comprehensive.
Several other benefits include enhancing the interactive abilities and navigation, simplifying where to find links, better search technology, the updating of meta-tags, new Flash features, and lastly, AJAX-style features have been added, allowing for access to new content without refreshing the entire page.
