Carat Fusion Joins Anti-Click Fraud Network
Direct response digital marketing agency Carat Fusion has joined more than 3,000 other advertisers and agencies as part of the Click Fraud Network, a click fraud detection service operated by online advertising developer Click Forensics. The deal will help Carat identify and discard bad or fraudulent clicks, with the hopes of increasing ROI for clients.
“We manage search campaigns in the tens of millions of clicks per month for our multinational client base, so click validation from the side of the advertiser is critical,” said Jason Clement, Carat Fusion’s associate director of SEM in a statement. “On any given day, our interactive campaigns can span thousands of search terms and we want to make sure advertisers get what they pay for.”
Carat will be testing the service in several campaigns before rolling it out to all its clients. Carat’s SEM team will analyze the data returned by the Click Fraud Network to determine the best method to make keyword selection more efficient and to increase the value of its PPC ads to clients.
“By working with Click Forensics to monitor for click fraud, we can garner accurate threat-level data from monitoring the technical and market data as well as activity on the advertiser’s site, which can be used to reallocate dollars away from channels of distribution which exhibited high threat levels and potentially turned over to the various search engines for reconciliation,” added Clement.
