TicketsNow Revved Up By NASCAR.com Ad Deal
Just in time for the NEXTEL Cup Series Awards Ceremony, event ticket seller TicketsNow has signed an exclusive online ad deal with NASCAR.com.
Starting January 1st, TicketsNow will have exclusive advertising rights on the official NASCAR site, “presenting sponsor” status on several NASCAR.com email newsletters, the ability to host NASCAR.com sweepstakes and other promotions, and the ability to auction off NASCAR VIP packages as part of TicketsNow Exclusives, a section of the TicketsNow site that auctions off ticket packages combined with special access, transportation and hotel deals.
“NASCAR fans are among the most loyal and enthusiastic in all of sports. They understand and appreciate what it means to be a part of the event experience,” said TicketsNow VP of business development Jeff Berman in a statement. “Our agreement with NASCAR.com introduces these fans to the safest, most secure online marketplace for premium event tickets, not only during the racing season but for other sports and live events as well.”
NASCAR.com is produced by Turner Sports New Media. In 2003, the site won an Emmy for its online race coverage through the site’s premium TrackPass and PitCommans services.
According to TicketsNow, more Fortune 500 companies advertise their brands on the NASCAR track than in any other sporting event.
