Ad Infuse Podcasts for a Drug-Free America
The Partnership for a Drug-Free America, a non-profit professional organization dedicated to combating drug abuse, is receiving a little pro-bono online boost from mobile advertising company Ad Infuse. The company is repackaging Drug-Free America’s broadcast PSA spots as pre-roll PSA’s on selected video podcasts on the Mondo Mini Show Network, a video site featuring original animations by California studio Mondo Media.
Mondo’s shows, which include the black comedy animated series Happy Tree Friends, are aimed at teens and young adults. “To reach the youth of this country with our message, we need to be thinking of new ways to connect with them,” said Cathy Dunn, a regional manager for the Partnership for a Drug-Free America in a statement. “Because mobile devices play such an important role in the lives of young people, we are truly grateful to Ad Infuse for enabling us to reach out in this new way.”
Ad Infuse specializes in delivering ads to mobile devices like cell phones and iPods, and focuses on personalizing ads to fit each individual customer. Some of the company’s team members bring background experience from major brands including Vodafone, Carat and Apple.
The campaign runs through the end of December.
