The Street.com and Line56.com get Brains

Web monetization company IndustryBrains, a subsidiary of web marketing company Marchex, has agreed to provide contextual advertising with financial news site TheStreet.com and e-business news site Line56.com. The Street publishes finance-related content across a number of mediums, including websites, email, print and broadcast. Line56 also runs several web properties dealing with online business news, as well as several email newsletters. The IndustryBrains service will let advertisers target specific sections on the websites of both companies.

“We are very pleased to add two premium and highly regarded media companies to our growing roster of partners, further enabling us to match advertisers with the most appropriate distribution points for their products or services,” said IndustryBrains CEO Erik Matlick in a statement. “TheStreet.com and Line56.com bring two more sources of top quality distribution to our business and finance verticals and we look forward to working with both to help them more fully monetize their sites.”

IndustryBrains provides advertising services to more than 100 vertical websites including BusinessWeek Online, The Motley Fool, Forbes.com, and sites from Ziff Davis.
