Maven, here! Networks Create Broadband Channel for Gay, Lesbian Audience

Maven Networks and here!, a gay television network, have teamed up to create a broadband video channel designed exclusively for gay and lesbian consumers. Using Maven’s Maven Media System (MMS) broadband video platform, here!Video will grant its audience access to here!Video content across multiple platforms and hardware devices.

Here!Video will allow marketers to strategically target viewers with pre and post-roll commercial spots, banner ads, and other embedded messages. The channel will include over three-hundred short-form video offerings like trailers from here!’s programming, LGBT independent short films, exclusive original online programming, and exclusive sponsored content.

“here! is an extremely innovative service, which produces the type of premium content that is exquisitely suited for a sophisticated broadband environment,” said Maven Founder, Chairman, and CEO, Hilmi Ozguc. “They have a deep understanding of their audience’s rapidly evolving needs when it comes to engaging media experiences and recognize the power of the Internet to broaden their viewer base. Maven’s platform is ideally suited for here! to efficiently create and manage broadband video channels that tap into their online audience and drive new advertising revenue.”

Here! distributes to over fifty million households, while here!Interactive receives over three-million unique monthly users.
