Deutsch, iLoop Free You from Unpleasant Chats with SMS Campaign
Deutsch Inc. and iLoop Mobile have teamed up to create an SMS campaign that gets users out of sticky situations. During this week’s Advertising Week, Deutsch offered “Bail Out Cards” in the Advertising Week Guide that allows users to get out of unwanted conversations by texting “Bail” to 4767. Within a few seconds, the texter’s phone rings to bail them out of the conversation and provides a pre-recorded script with instructions on how to get out of sticky conversations.
“We’ve all been at industry functions and unfortunately, at one time or another, we’ve all been trapped talking to someone we’d rather not be talking to,” said Eric Hirshberg, President/Chief Creative Officer, Deutsch LA. “There’s never been a graceful exit from that kind of situation. But now there is. We didn’t just make this ad as a public service for our peers. If the need arises, we won’t hesitate to use it ourselves.”
The campaign uses the latest SMS and Interactive Voice Response technology, enabling immediate automated or live voice call back in response to a standard text message.
“This campaign is an excellent example of combining creativity and SMS technology to provide a solution for consumer interactivity via the mobile channel,” added Steve Koskie, CEO of iLoop Mobile.
