Shopetc.com Hires Interevco for Online Ad Sales
Hearst Magazines’ online outpost Shopetc.com has hired Interevco as its exclusive online advertising sales representative. Interevco will manage all new business as well as existing accounts across a variety of categories within the website.
SHOP Etc. and Shopetc.com launched simultaneously in 2004 to allow consumers to literally shop the items they viewed within the print publication. Shopetc.com’s fashion, home, and beauty departments, in conjunction with exclusive deal offers, blogs, shopping calendars, and subscription opportunities, will provide advertisers various options for integrated web promotions. Topbutton.com and Neiman Marcus have recently launched ads on the website.
“We are delighted that Interevco will bring to market the exciting advertising opportunities at Shopetc.com,” said Cynthia Lewis, vice president and publisher of SHOP Etc. “They have an exceptional track record of positioning and selling magazine companion sites, and we believe that they truly understand how our magazine or potential magazine partners can leverage SHOP Etc.’s brand assets online.”
