Reed Business Installs Burst AdConductor
Online technology & marketing company Burst Media today announced that Reed Business, the business subsidiary of Reed Elsevier Group PLC, will now deploy Burst’s ad management solution AdConductor to assist its extensive publishing arm.
With approximately 135 B2B magazines in the fold, Reed Business has chosen AdConductor to create standardization across multiple sites in order to support various levels of campaign targeting. In turn, Reed will now be able to sell RON campaigns and/or target individual sites and channels. AdConductor will also integrate Reed’s order entry, campaign management, and traffic tools into one unified system increasing efficiency through automated processes, and reducing errors.
Additionally, AdConductor Enterprise will be customized to commingle with Reed’s current CRM system with the hopes of forming a single point of data entry that will encourage use of the CRM tool amongst Reed’s sales team. As an added bonus, AdConductor will also provide Reed’s sales management with sites that will allow them to analyze the advertising and financial metrics of each magazine.
“For Reed, the key point of differentiation from other ad servers that support multiple properties is Burst’s unique support at the strategic business level,” says Sean Keaveny, VP of Web Operations, Reed Business, in a statement. “I don’t know of any other ad serving solution that provides proven technology and processes capable of increasing the overall efficiency of our advertising sales operations.”
“AdConductor frees Reed’s sales staff to spend their time selling advertising, rather than navigating cumbersome internal systems. AdConductor Enterprise can now be more tightly integrated with existing client systems, resulting in improved reporting and overall performance,” adds Harry Klein, COO Burst AdConductor. “For all of our customers we try to serve as business consultants as well as technology providers, leveraging our 10 years of Internet advertising sales experience. Our goal is to help them reengineer their processes with proven technology.”
