Flycast Co-Founders (Finally) Move On, Launch Adify

Larry Braitman and Richard Thompson, the co-founders of long-deceased “blind” advertising network creator Flycast Communications, have launched a new online advertising company called Adify. Adify is a self-serve ad network designed to help marketers target advertising in vertical industries.

Braitman and Thompson created Adify to give both publishers and advertisers more control over the placement of their ads. To facilitate communication between the two, Adify encourages open transactions between publisher and advertiser with the ad network serves more as a moderator than as a silent black box.

“Since we founded Flycast 10 years ago, online marketers and publishers have grown much more sophisticated and are demanding greater direct control over their key advertising relationships,” said Braitman in a statement. “Adify addresses these emerging needs by enabling publishers to package, price and merchandize their online advertising space in a manner that enhances their unique brand and content.”

Adify gives publishers a branded system they can use to set their own pricing, their own terms, and their own placement. The system also includes management, tracking and billing systems.
