Ping Mobile Teams Up with CREW Marketing

New York-based CREW Marketing and Teaneck, N.J.-based Ping Mobile have announced a partnership to launch the PingRewards mobile marketing service to retail and advertising clients nationwide. With this deal, CREW, a provider of retail sales, marketing, merchandising, training, support and corporate services to the retail industry, will collaborate with mobile marketing and tech company Ping to provide retail industry clients with the unique PingRewards text message advertising and marketing service.

Through a “pay per text message” model, retail clients can sign on as advertising partners to access the new performance-based and revenue generating channel of communication with customers. Those who sign up for the free PingRewards service will then receive coupons, vouchers and marketing promotions that they can redeem at participating locations.

“Ping Mobile’s partnership with CREW Marketing allows us to bring very targeted and specialized marketing services to our joint client roster,” says Ping Mobile CEO Shira Simmonds in a statement. “The collaboration allows us to cover every aspect of our clients’ mobile marketing needs. Ping handles nationwide mobile campaign set-up, marketing and promotion management, tracking and reporting; and CREW handles employee training, in-store advertising and logistics, on-the-ground buzz agents and nationwide signage and poster distribution.”
