Johnny Rockets, Cornerstone Partner for Branded Music Promotion
The Johnny Rockets Group, Inc., parent company of the all-American burger chain Johnny Rockets, today announced the launch of a branded music promotion designed to bring the classic Johnny Rockets music experience to 21st century consumers and music fans.
By joining forces with lifestyle marketing firm Cornerstone, Johnny Rockets will connect their catalogue of classic rock n’ roll and Motown cuts with current day rockers, hip-hop artists and pop stars. The initiative will include an online experience showcasing a comprehensive genealogy of current popular music in the form of an interactive display patterned after a traditional subway map–effectively linking today’s artists to those that influenced them.
Additional accoutrements of this joint campaign will include custom iMixes complied by music experts featuring current artists along side the classic artists who influenced them, free music downloads, radio, and online contests.
By logging on to Johnnyrockets.com music fans will have the opportunity to interact with the exclusive Johnny Rockets music map and download the custom iMixes. New customized iMixes will be available through 2007. This series will be supported by free music download cards which will be distributed to consumers at select retail outlets, special events, radio and online promotions.
“Music is an integral part of the Johnny Rockets experience,” said Mimi Somerman, Senior Vice President of Marketing, The Johnny Rockets Group, Inc, in a press statement. “We are excited to extend our passion for music to consumers who love classic American fare and are interested in learning about the roots of today’s hottest music stars.”
Johnny Rockets and Cornerstone Promotion will kick off this new branding effort in mid-June.
