Eyeblaster Partners with RealNetworks
Digital marketing veteran Eyeblaster, today announced a partnership with RealNetworks a developer, publisher and distributor of casual games, to develop and deliver high-impact video ads to the downloadable casual game marketplace.
The foundation of this relationship is eb.in-games, a solution that utilizes Eyeblaster tools that seek to optimize the effectiveness of interactive video and static ad formats in game environments. According to comments made by Eyeblaster, this will extend and enlarge the current ad-based business model for casual games by allowing marketers to place engaging, interactive ads in the gaming arena—now a key marketplace for targeted end-users.
“Online gaming is an increasingly attractive option for marketers,” adds Gal Trifon, Eyeblaster’s CEO/President. “Now, with Eyeblaster’s eb.in-games solution, it’s easier for advertisers to reach and make an impact the growing, attractive gaming audience as well as offering game developers an exciting new way to generate new revenue streams.”
Eyeblaster will work with Real’s studio GameHouse, a publisher and distributor of downloadable computer games. The former’s digital marketing technology is currently enabled in 12 downloadable games that will be distributed via RealArcade and GameHouse during this summer, including TextTwist, Mah Jong Medley and Sudoku.
