WMA Announces WebAwards 2006 Call for Entries
The Web Marketing Association (WMA) has announced a call for entries for its 10th annual interanational WebAwards competiton. The deadline for entries is May 31, judging will take place June through August, and the winners will be announced in September.
Ninety-six industries will be judged including Advertising, B2B, Computer Software, Design, Financial Services, Healthcare, Manufacturing, Media, Professional Services, Small Business and Travel. This year’s awards will include a “Best of Industry” WebAward given in each of the 96 categories, a 2006 WebAward “Best of Show” and the interactive agency who wins the most awards in the competition will receive the “Top Interactive Agency” WebAward. Each WebAward participant will receive a detailed study comparing their scores with other entries in each of the seven criteria as part of the Internet Standards Assessment Report.
The 2006 WebAward Competition current sponsors include BURST! Media, SimpleFeed, Register.com, NewsUSA, AdTools Inc, Small Army, Perseus Development Corp and PRWeb. Media Sponsors include Website Services Magazine, AdRants, MarketingVox, MediaPost, eComXpo, Ad:Tech and Macworld.
