Voxant Hosts Viral Syndication Network

Open distribution network Voxant today announced the beta-phase launch of the Voxant Viral Syndication Network. They invite all online advertisers, publishers, and news organizations to scope out the network’s platform for pushing licensed news content and advertising to 43 million web sites and 30 million blogs.

Voxant compiles individual NewsCubes, content and targeted advertising wrapped with branding and authentication codes to ensure journalistic integrity. It then “mashes” the NewsCubes through its viral network, paying the content provider every time they are uniquely viewed.

In the NewsRoom, Voxant’s destination site for viral syndication, potential advertisers and publishers can browse a catalog of quality news video, audio, print and photographs available for mashing.

“Voxant’s Viral Syndication Network solves a critical problem for traditional news broadcasters, publishers and advertisers as more and more news consumers turn to the Internet,” Voxant CEO Jeff Crigler said in a press statement. “Voxant is a Web 2.0 company — through viral mashing and viral syndication, we can help news organizations and advertisers reach millions of additional Web sites and blogs on the ‘long tail of the Web’ that have over half the Internet audience, but very little access to quality news content and advertising.”
