Think Partnership Acquires iLead

Marketing, advertising, and PR firm Think Partnership has just completed its acquisition of iLead Media, an online direct marketing and sales lead generation company. The buyout was first announced earlier this month. iLead is now owned completely by Think Partnership, and will continue to operate as a subsidiary. iLead’s leadership, headed by former iLead CEO Brady Whittingham will continue to head the new subsidiary.

“iLead Media and its expertise in direct online marketing will add significantly to the capabilities of Think Partnership,” said Think Partner president Scott Mitchell in a statement. “The exceptional competency of the world class team Brady Whittingham has assembled will foster innovation and provide new growth opportunities throughout our organization. Their expansive reach and fine-tuned knowledge in performance-based interactive direct marketing will enable growth and efficiencies throughout our organization.”

Think Partnership has experienced more than a few shakeups in May as CEO Gerard Jacobs and chairman T. Benjamin Jennings resigned earlier this month. The iLead acquisition was first announced on May 2nd, before the resignations, and iLead is being integrated as Think Partnership focuses on strengthening and developingitself internally.
