Sofizar Ushers in SEM, SEO Services to Japan and Korea
Search engine marketing and click-fraud detection company Sofizar has partnered with Asia’s M2Soft, to bring its SEM and SEO services to the Korean and Japanese market. Sofizar currently manages $12 million worth of advertising for its US and UK customers, and the company hopes to gain a foothold in the burgeoning Korean and Japanese SEO markets. As PPC advertising becomes more popular in countries like Korea, the need for proper defense against click fraud also emerges. M2Soft serves more than 700 clients in and around Korea and Japan, and their web reporting software is used by more than 15,000 Korean websites.
“One of the things that impressed me about M2Soft was their process of due diligence and evaluation of Sofizar’s click fraud detection software ‘Zaralyzer’ as our core technology,” said Sofizar CEO Zafar Khan in a statement. “M2Soft took the necessary time, and flew in a large team of engineers to evaluate our technology and processes. We are very excited to work with the quality conscious team of M2Soft.”
Sofizar’s software analyzes web traffic for patterns that indicate PPC click-fraud. They then examine any accounts that have been red flagged by-hand. While their click-fraud detection service is aimed at PPC advertisers, their SEM work focuses on organic search results and search engine optimization, rather than PPC marketing.

It is very challenging to do SEO service in Korea. It’s because the Koreans use blogs of naver to do the search. It will be very interesting to see how Sofizar provides SEO to the clients in Korea.
