PinPoint Goes Mobile
Ad agency PinPoint Interactive Media has formed a new division to specialize in mobile marketing. The new PinPoint Mobile will market via SMS text messages, mobile-formatted “.mobi” websites, and produce full-featured mobile marketing campaigns.
PinPoint Mobile uses PinPoint’s proprietary DeliverText SMS system to send mobile customers time-sensitive marketing information like appointments, and reservations, etc. It also has the capability to market to mobile users through banner advertising and provide mobile marketing programs like store locators and mobile commerce (aka m-commerce) applications, commonly used to sell ringtones and multimedia content. Other PinPoint services include interactive advertising, email & search marketing, media planning, and market research.
PinPoint Mobile is currently marketing their services to the hospitality industry, and has already signed up long-time PinPoint Interactive partner Carlson Hotels, owners of Raddison, Country Inns & Suites, and TGI Friday’s. “The hospitality and travel industry is an ideal sector to leverage mobile marketing applications and reach customers on the go,” said PinPoint President Adam Kaufman in a statement, “but the options are limitless for any type of marketer who wants to keep apace with the mobile technology that increasingly fuels their target customer’s lifestyle”
