ContextWeb, InfoSpace Collaborate for Contextual Graphical Ad Tool

ContextWeb announced today it will collaborate with InfoSpace on a contextual graphical advertising product offering that will be offered by the latter company to Web publishers through its search and directory sales group.

The companies expect the offering to be in market for the third quarter of 2006. ContextWeb’s real-time indexing allows a plug and play solution with no integration required by publishers. With the union, InfoSpace partners will simply schedule the contextual offering through DFP, OAS, Accipiter or any dynamic ad-serving environment.

“ContextWeb is excited to partner with a leader in the search and directory business. It is a privilege to be chosen by InfoSpace to provide the newest and best in contextual advertising to its top flight distribution partners,” said Jay Sears, VP of business development and publisher relations for ContextWeb, in a press statement.

According to the release, ContextWeb can serve contextually relevant advertisements to the most motivated potential customer in as little as 20 milliseconds. ContextAd uses both categories and keywords for analysis and matching, delivering unprecedented accuracy, ensuring four to six times greater likelihood that advertisements will be clicked and lead to sales.
