360i, Channel Intelligence Partner To Furnish Retail Feeds
360i, the search engine marketing firm used by major retailers like Office Depot, today inked a deal with Channel Intelligence to syndicate their clients’ product listings to data feeds on shopping portals.
The deal is designed to build the growing space of retail feed channels, using CI’s back-end optimization and trafficking technology. The product data feeds will be syndicated on up to 20 different shopping portals, such as Shopzilla, Nextag, and Shopping.com.
“We see the shopping feed space as where search engine auction formats were four or five or six years ago–and we really see that space exploding, especially within the retail area,” Dave Williams, 360i’s chief strategist, told MediaPost. “They have extremely expansive relationships with all the major shopping engines, very sophisticated optimization technology–and that’s where we felt we were a good fit.”
Channel Intelligence’s solution is already being used by several chief e-commerce companies, such as Circuit City, Electronic Arts, Panasonic, Canon, and FujiFilm.
