IOWorld Media, home to Internet radio station www.Radioio.com, today announced it has joined forces with Ultramercial LLC. With this union, radioio.com listeners may sample any or all of the company’s twenty radio formats in a CD quality, commercial-free stream—free of charge after viewing a 30-second Ultramercial ad.
Founded by Dana Jones, Ultramercial gives publishers the opportunity to monetize trial access to premium content. Regarding the deal, Michael Roe, founder of www.radioio.com says in a statement, “Our partnership with Ultramercial and its advertisers offers listeners an opportunity to sample radioio.com’s premium content, until now only available to monthly subscribers. After watching the ultramercial, listeners have access to our premium content for two hours, absolutely free. It’s a win/win for all of us – radioio.com, Ultramercial, their advertisers and, most importantly, our listeners and future subscribers.”
