THK Further Reveals its Intentions
Holding company Think Partnership (THK) today announced that it has signed yet another letter of intent, this time to acquire IceRocket.com, LLC, a real-time blog/RSS search engine that that provides its visitors the latest in news, business, technology, health, and sports stories, and also helps its customers to search for website information, images, and cell phone pictures.
The Dallas-based IceRocket is co-owned by Dallas Mavericks owner Mark Cuban and Chief Executive Officer Blake Rhodes, who will continue to serve as IceRocket’s CEO following the closing.
“I am thrilled that IceRocket is uniting with Think Partnership, enabling us to connect the huge and growing blogging community to the business opportunities and network provided by Think Partnership, especially Litmus Media’s Valid Click network and PrimaryAds’ affiliate marketing network,” said Blake Rhodes in a statement.
Cuban adds, “I am looking forward to the completion of this deal and working with Think Partnership. Both of our companies are focused on providing the highest integrity services to our users and building core enabling technology that can eliminate click fraud and “splogging” on our networks in real time.”
Closing of the transaction is subject to a number of conditions including a mutual due diligence investigation of IceRocket and THK, mutually acceptable definitive documentation, an amendment to THK’s loan agreement with Wachovia Bank, Board of Director approvals, and other closing conditions.
