Metareward has several of their own reg-path, free-ipod offers. Additionally, there is rumors that data sold to Datran came from them also?

Not sure if this article is accurate. Metareward, as far as I understand, isn't so much a rival of Gratis, but an enabler of FreePay.com in helping them track customers who complete offers. Thus, Experian may be exiting the market for fear that Spitzer is simply looking down the stream of Gratis' line-of-business and now has his sight set on them.
