IGA Gains Exclusive Rights from Simbin
In-game advertising company IGA Worldwide announced yesterday that it has gained exclusive rights for adding game developer SimBin’s GTR and WTCC -based games into its Radial network. The agreement spans several years, and IGA will also provide advertising for GTR’s sequel. As we reported earlier this month, IGA is also sponsoring the Trackmania Nations racing game for game developer Nadeo.
“SimBin’s GTR is renowned as the most realistic racing simulation ever released, and having played early versions we are certain that their WTCC titles will maximize their unique combination of professional racing background and veteran development teams to deliver the most exhilarating experience for players,” said IGA CEO Justin Townsend in a statement.”
IGA’s Radial in-game advertising platform will provide FIA GT and WTCC with dynamic trackside billboards, and their communications consultancy, Hive Partners, will provide real-life promotions. The real life World Touring Car Championship event had 491 viewers from around the world last year, and they predict they’ll have more than 600 million this year. SimBin specializes in realistic racing simulations, and sells mostly in the U.S. and Europe. IGA Worldwide’s Radial advertising technology currently reaches more than 150 million viewers in the U.S. alone.
